Switching email providers in Port Ludlow

Leaving an address that came with your internet, or one that feels dated? I move your mail and contacts, forward the old address, and set it up everywhere.

Sound familiar?

Why people switch, and what worries them.

  • The old provider is shutting the service or raising the price.
  • The address came with an internet plan you’re leaving.
  • Years of email and contacts you can’t lose.
  • Everyone has the old address.
  • The old mail stopped working on the new phone.
  • AOL, Hotmail or Yahoo feel dated or unsafe.

What happens on a visit

  1. Pick the new address

Gmail or iCloud for most people, chosen to fit the devices you have.

  2. Bring everything over

Old mail, contacts and calendar copied across before anything is closed.

  3. Forward and announce

The old address forwards for as long as it can, and your contacts get a note from you.

  4. Check it on every device

Phone, tablet and computer all showing the same mail.

Common questions

Will I lose old emails?

No. I copy them to the new account before anything is closed, and keep the old one open for a while as a safety net.

Which provider should I move to?

For most people, Gmail or iCloud: free, reliable, and they work on everything. I explain the difference and set up the one that fits.

Can I keep my old address?

Sometimes, if the provider allows it. Otherwise we forward it for as long as they let us, and tell your contacts the new one.

Ready to move your email without the fear?
